The goal of this agreement is to provide you with a fixed monthly IT expense, which is more than 5 times lower than having a full time onsite IT technician. DCG will attempt to eliminate any additional billing, so you can expect that this fixed prices will remain constant.


This service agreement applies to your entire office and includes the following:

  • 2 scheduled visits per month (every other week) for maintenance and support
  • Unlimited phone support
  • Unlimited remote access support
  • Email hosting
  • Web site hosting
  • Search engine submissions
  1. 2 scheduled visits per month (every other week) for maintenance and support (1 hour authorized, up to 2 without additional charges)
    • Workstations, laptops, printers, plotters, server, backup, network, internet
    • NAV updates, windows/office updates, security patches
    • Backup routine, training
    • Questions log-accumulated items or issues that need to be addressed
    • All server and workstation issues related to the operating system

  1. Unlimited Phone Support
    • Technical walk through calls for supported operating systems

  1. Unlimited Remote Support
    • A technician connects and fixes workstation/server related problems
    • Provides training if necessary – technician moves your mouse on your screen remotely

  1. Web Site Hosting
    • Server Reports - these reports are generated daily, weekly or monthly and emailed to you. This is a detailed report that shows you how many hits, what pages and how often did the prospect visit your site. We can provide a sample.

  1. Search Engine Submissions
    • Data Consulting Group will setup, configure and submit your web site profile to over 600,000 search engines, discussion forums, directories and more. This service is fully automated. You receive a report that shows your website ranking and all submissions. You can identify trends, increase in referrals to your web site and much more.
    • Search engine submissions are done quarterly and generally take 3 hours. We will generate ranking and submission reports upon completion. This is a quarterly $300 value.
    • It is your responsibility to provide us with the necessary information, in order for us to be able to prepare the submission. For example: Contact Information, Web Site, Keywords, Description, etc. DCG will assist you in preparing this information.

Examples of when you might be charged for service labor, but not limited to:

  • Provide training and support for software that is not windows related
  • Hardware failure
  • Hardware failure causing system to malfunction
  • You request a technician to come on-site for any reason, other than the scheduled service agreement
  • Install new equipment, provide RMA (replacement) installations

You will not be charged for any work performed during the scheduled visit, but the technician needs to finish with his/hers responsibilities before s/he will attend to your requests. The schedule visit is supposed to be 1 onsite hour, however, if the technician needs to stay longer, anything below 2 hours will not be charged. Onsite hours after the second hour will be charged at our standard technical support rates.


Data Consulting Group does not charge drive time or perform labor tasks without proper authorization. Our goal is to keep your maintenance expenses to a minimum, and if possible, to a fixed monthly price. In addition, you will receive a detailed labor report. The report includes the following data: Technician, date, time, onsite/phone or remote support; description of problem and work completed. This is a reliable way to track cost/time spent and occurrence of tech issues.
