Data Consulting Group has been developing for the Internet from the beginning. Starting out when all that was available were html and CGI scripts and working towards today where we can utilize technologies such as ASP.NET, Cold Fusion, and COM.

Whatever your needs are, rest assured that DCG is up to the task. If on the off chance you request something that one of our full-time developers is unable to accomplish, we can utilize any one of our strategic partners to complete the project.

.NET Technology
As an early adopter of most technologies, we are in a position to implement methodologies to deliver more than required. With the advent of C#, VB.NET, and ASP.NET, Internet development is quickly joining the ranks of application development. The Internet browser is now the launch pad for business class applications, whether they be for accounting, contact management, or service coordination.

Legacy ASP Development
While ASP.NET is the future, many current Internet applications still are comprised of legacy code in the form of ASP script. Having developed more than a hundred sites and contributing custom solutions to countless others, DCG is committed to continuing the ASP heritage. The best reason to continue with ASP development is the years of experience and portable, reusable code and components that we have available. By using these resources we are in a position to complete projects in a shorter period of time.

Cold Fusion Development
Our Cold Fusion development is actually a by product of our experience in other areas. Word had gotten around that if a project was to be done on time and under budget, call Data Consulting Group. This lead to a number of requests to complete or to fix Cold Fusion developed applications. As the requests grew, we decided to add this knowledge to our group. While most new projects are begun using ASP.NET or ASP, we maintain, manage, and host a number of Cold Fusion applications. Our commitment to this programming paradigm can be seen in the recent upgrade of our CF servers to Cold Fusion 5.0.
